ING Robotic is a Canadian-owned dual-use manufacturer specializing in advanced uncrewed aerial vehicles (UCAVs) and intelligent mission systems. Headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, we design, develop, and produce sovereign aerospace capabilities for NATO and Five Eyes ( Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK, USA) partners. For over 20 years, we have been a trusted industrial partner to the Government of Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces, delivering critical capabilities in support of national defence and allied operations.
Since our founding in 2001, ING Robotic has supported Canadian troops with Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) services in high-threat environments, including operations in Afghanistan. Building on this foundation, ING Robotic led the UAV operations as part of task force 150, a U.S. led coalition with the Royal Canadian Navy to support counter-narcotics and counter-human trafficking missions, contributing to the disruption of over $2 billion in illicit activities.
In 2021, with nothing available on the market, ING Robotic was tasked with developing a sovereign, leap-ahead uncrewed solution to address rapidly evolving threats, in line with Canada’s defence policy, Our North, Strong and Free. Working under demanding timelines and global supply chain challenges, we designed, built, and flight-tested the OMEN UCAV—a NATO Class II long-range VTOL platform—from initial concept to first flight in just 18 months.
The OMEN family represents a fully Canadian-designed and manufactured capability. These systems integrate advanced hybrid-electric propulsion, AI-enabled autonomy, and modular mission systems to deliver persistent ISR&T effects while enhancing operator safety and reducing logistical burden. Fully aligned with NATO and Five Eyes interoperability standards, OMEN platforms serve as a force multiplier for both domestic and international operations.
